The White House Hotel - Herm

Charming hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful surroundings. Dinner was good, particularly the simplified menu. Relaxed vibe. 🌊😊

The hotel is in a beautiful island location. Staff are very polite and attentive. The atmosphere is very relaxing. There is a beautiful garden. Complimentary tea and coffee is available. Staff carry luggage to and from the boat. They make the occasional error but who cares when they try so hard to make everything right.

Amazing location and the room was pretty. The outstanding service and the attention to detail were stand outs! Not far from Herm and other tourist attractions. They offer free Wi-Fi throughout the property, which allows you to work from the hotel.

Charming setting to indulge in good culinary experiences and savor the beauty of the gardens.

It was the beginning of the season and there were a few teething problems. Food was average to good but did expect more for the price we were paying. But overall, we were very pleased.

The pool area was disorganized, with unchallenged sunbed hoggers and dirty tables!!! Evening menus lacked variety and creativity, indicating poor management and planning. Maintenance seemed lacking, leaving a neglected atmosphere.

The view from our room was lekker, and the staff were super friendly, always willing to help out. Had a great brekkie with lots of options, and the dinner was a real highlight-especially that amuse-bouche with the eggshell!

Just a heads up, the room we got wasn't in the main hotel but a cottage nearby. Bit unexpected and a little less cozy than we hoped for.

The picturesque island offers a unique early morning tranquility before the day-trippers arrive. The relaxed atmosphere in the public areas is upgraded with the fine sea views. Breakfast featured indulgent pastries, a good highlight. The cottage bedrooms, while comfortable, had basic fixtures and fittings. Service was often slow and uncoordinated, indicating a lack of adequate training among staff, which detracted from what should have been an really good stay.

i loved how conveniently placed this hotel was, with the beautiful gardens of the island and the vibrant town of St Peter Port just a short walk away, making it easy to explore and soak in the atmosphere each day.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with a fantastic meal and a thrilling Puffin Patrol kayaking trip-saw dolphins too!

Amazing place with great amenities like wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The staff once helped me find directions to local attractions. I recommend enjoying the welcome drink!
